I am surprised fire is doing the most so far. I struggled on some encounters too on heroic but the more reps you do and refarm kills each week it you get more comfortable since you are more familiar with the timings for the mechanics. He is a better raider than me but he reassured me I wasn’t the only one having initial problems on that fight. I talked to another arcane mage in a mythic raiding guild from my time on Stormrage and he actually got benched on progression for that fight. Overall, Critical Strike Chance is a lot more valuable on a Fire Mage, mainly due to the talent. This stat is very beneficial for both Fire and Frost Mages and is sometimes valued over Spell Damage and Hit Rating, depending on the Mage and situation. Plus the strat we were using of switching to the other add using the chains during transition because of the stacks instead of burning it down didn’t help at all. You only get one arcane charge shooting orb at the boss since it won’t hit stopping at the edge of the platform and totm splash damage and arcane barrage cleave doesn’t hit the chain add from what I noticed. Tarragrue is whatever, Nine is okay, but the Eye is just feels terrible as arcane. (they could do the same as me actually less risk but will take em forever to get the kills) mages do damages but die 2-3 hits… that is balnce.I have done the first three fights on mythic. Is like if you nerf a tank, you know, before (this suppoused tank nerf) hey could tank 10 mobs but if they nerf em they will tank onley 3 mobs… is like whats the point of tank class then? The trade here is that if they hit me 2-3 times im dead… (wich is easy while being chase by 5-7 mobs)

and i still can do it, it just take way longer cause my lack of CC and DMG. Yes i could like in any other mmo… you know why casue im a mage that does AOES… i could do it cause i have skill. I dont think anyone from AGS read this formus (not after all the feed back and they doing nothing) but i had to take it out of my chest.Įdit: some ppl say that mages are op casue i could kill 5-7 mobs lvl 63 at a time… here my answer to you guys O well i feel better now after spiting my poison.

Other classes are not for me, why should i play the meta GA like everyone else, why the devs force me to stop being a mage? just delete int wreapons dont make me belive that mages are an option casue they are not any more.

the ice storm just dont do dmg, the ice armor (whatever its the real name) its a joke now… so my class for solo pve is useless, and for party pve its better to go GA more damage better armor.Īt pvp before it was a pain to fight a full void armor guy, now its just pointles, ice storm is useless, i still get the kills casue i have skill at playing mages (20+ years playing this class at diferent mmos) but its just not fun any more being a mage in NW. before i could solo mob elites (pulls of 5-7 enemys) lvl 63 in 2 or 3 rotations, now it just takes too long of me running arround till i have the wall ready again looool. The perk that decrease cd times in FS works whenever it wants, ice wall cd 30 secs is just too much. Title sais it all, ice gounlet is the worst thing now, totally usless… fire staff just dont crit any more (well mybe once every hour) plus less dmg, its a joke I saw the Test server forum, and after all the feed back i really belived they would change somethin, i mean FS and IG are the posts with more feed back.
